A stunning custom-built phinisi yacht that made its debut in August 2022. Owned by the eco-conscious creators behind Nirjhara hotel in Bali, Vela seamlessly blends century-old maritime traditions with modern naval design. The yacht was envisioned by an American engineer and meticulously crafted in South Sulawesi by the skilled Konjo boatbuilders, with a sleek hull designed for optimal performance and safety, constructed using locally sourced ironwood and teak.

ACCOMODATION
Distinctive and elegant, Vela’s interior seamlessly combines comfort with traditional Indonesian craftsmanship. Designed by a Parisian interior designer, the yacht’s interiors are brightened with vibrant touches and chic accents.
Notable design elements include ceramics from Gaya in Ubud, hand-dyed fabrics with plant-based indigo from East Bali, and luxurious Italian textiles from Hermès and Dedar Milano. Vela features six exquisitely appointed suites—two master suites above deck and four spacious staterooms below. Each suite is adorned with Italian fabrics and furnished with custom teak furniture sourced from sustainable forestry. The en-suite bathrooms boast Philippe Starck fittings, handmade terracotta from Ubud, and sleek marble surfaces.
