Bookings Policy

To secure a charter reservation date, a minimum deposit of 50% must be received by The Luxury Voyage while the balance payment must be paid 90 days prior to disembarkation. For any bookings made 90 days prior to departure date, charter fee must be paid fully. No charters will disembark until 100% payment is received by The Luxury Voyage. Once your booking has been successfully completed, a booking confirmation will be issued in respect of each charter booked and sent to the email address provided in your registered account. You need to produce your booking confirmation upon departure, together with your original valid photo identification document (KTP for Indonesian residents and passport for foreign residents).

Cancellation & Refund

If you wish to cancel or change a reservation in any way, it must be done by electronic mail to The Luxury Voyage at the following address: [email protected]

From client side: more than 60 days prior to departure, 40% of the total cruise price will be charged as cancelation fee. 59 – 0 days prior to departure 100% of the cruise price will be charged as cancelation fees. If the guest decides to postpone his cruise for the same period or portion, the deposits made can be used pro-rata to pay this future cruise depending on the price and availability. If the guest decides to cancel and The Luxury Voyage is able to rebook the boat for the same period or portion, deposits paid may refund pro rata. If rebooking is not possible, no refund will be made. No show during the charter date will also result on a charter cancelation and no payment shall be refunded.

From The Luxury Voyage: if we are unable to deliver services specified in booking due to operational failures, alternative arrangements of equal or superior quality will be offered or full compensation of all costs directly related to the booked service. The guest may be charged for partially provided services. In case we are permanently unable to deliver services specified in the booking due to circumstances beyond control, such as natural disasters, war, riots etc., the Legal Code Indonesia applies. Each will be considered according to its merit in order to find a commercially responsible solution for all parts.

Health and safety circumstances:

If official government or public health advisories restrict travel to or within Indonesia, or affect the guest’s country of origin, within 30 days of the Cruise Departure Date, guests will be offered the opportunity to reschedule to alternative dates, subject to availability. Any deposit already received will be held and applied toward the rescheduled charter, with the balance payment due 30 days prior to the new departure date. If a cruise is cancelled less than 3 days before departure under these circumstances, non-refundable expenses already incurred by The Luxury Voyage will be deducted from any refund. In all cases, The Luxury Voyage will work with guests in good faith to find a fair solution on a case-by-case basis.

General Liability

Damages resulting from illness, personal injuries or death which may be sustained by reason of, or while engaged on, any trip whether due to the ownership, maintenance, use, operation or control of any aircraft, helicopter, automobile, bicycle, boat, vehicle, hotel, common carrier or any other conveyance used in carrying out these trips, we assume no liability due to any cause whatsoever whether caused by failure or delay or other irregularity, acts or omissions occurring during a trip under which the means of transportation or other service provided thereby is offered or supplied by owners, operators or public carriers for and on behalf of us.

We shall not be held responsible for any injury to person (whether or not resulting in death) or damage to property arising out of any act of war, insurrection, revolt or other civil uprising or military action occurring in the countries of origin, destination or passage.

In case of a medical problem arising during the trip, either on board or on shore, which results in costs for rerouting the boat, evacuation, use of aircraft or repatriation, including the likely other passengers refund for the alteration of the diving cruise, the responsibility for payment of these costs, belongs solely to the passenger.

Insurance Policy

It is highly recommended to secure third party liability protection covering any accident or occurrence arising out of aerial or aquatic activities of guests, and/ or the use of tenders or other watercraft. We strongly recommend that all guests protecting their investment by securing a fully comprehensive travel insurance policy including travel cancelation. We can advise the travel insurance company which guest can secure coverage directly.

Itinerary Policy

The route that we take for any given charter is tailor-made and personalised for each Sea Safari. Our goal is to optimize the experience for all of the guests in one of the most remote and pristine sanctuaries left of earth. We like to have pre-departure questionnaires completed 60-days before the charter taking place by each guest to ensure that we focus on meeting their expectations. Please be aware that all itineraries are subject to change at the discretion of the captain due to weather and other safety considerations. Experiences will be different from one destination to others. There is no guarantee of wildlife sightings as we explore wild destinations.
